Shola Olunloyo

Shola is a self trained astute chef whose cuisine is a summation of the classical approach, travel and an ongoing education focused on extracting flavor from the best ingredients. It is not solely based on procuring the most expensive or esoteric items but rather a synergy of products with a quality index that speaks to the final preparations.

While he considers his cooking to be modern American due to various influences, the use of the word modern refers to borrowing flavors and techniques from several ethnic influences as opposed to a non transparent use of multiple chemicals that may require a leap of faith.

Shola is supported in the kitchen by Robert Amar, general manager and beverage director who brings a vast wealth of knowledge to the restaurant.
